As a Security Officer - Dispatch Desk Armed in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while remaining highly visible. This is an armed and driving post, requiring both an armed guard license and a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage access control points, including verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
  • Operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and/or coordinate response to incidents as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all activities, incidents, and communications in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by offering assistance and information as required.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding site activities and incidents as appropriate.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by remaining alert and attentive to all security-related matters within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement military or security experience or a college degree is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
