As a Patrol Armed Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of ongoing activities.
• Communicate and coordinate with facility staff, visitors, and law enforcement as required to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Remain alert to potential security-related hazards or suspicious behavior and take appropriate action in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
