As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned firearms and adhere to all company and legal requirements for armed personnel.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify potential security-related risks and respond appropriately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
