Job Description




As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol - Flex in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and support access control efforts, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a visible presence while conducting regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client contacts to address site-specific needs and/or concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed, including assisting with evacuations, access control, and/or crowd management as needed.
  • Document incidents and daily activities using Allied Universal reporting tools and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
