Back 5d 3TL Logistics Supervisor - Kent/Everett #25-1171 Multiple Locations Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Working Locations Everett , Washington , United States Kent , Washington , United States Pay Range $32.00 - $36.00/hr DOE Job Details Summary The Logistics/3TL Supervisor is the point of contact for all day-to-day functions within the 3TL Driver Team and will work closely with our existing Purchasing/Operation Teams. This position will be critical to the daily success of the 3TL service offering which supports: 1) Line haul of our inbound inventory from our local suppliers 2) Contracted lanes of inbound inventory for some of our largest mission-critical suppliers and 3) Transfers and auto-trans loads from our facilities. Primary Responsibilities Supervise a team of Line Haul Drivers to ensure all line haul procedures are executed to Company standards Participate with the 3TL Corporate team members in weekly meetings with internal stakeholders and suppliers Manage all personnel issues working closely with our operation leaders including training, evaluating, disciplining, and following up on driving team concerns Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff Ensure that all safety and compliance policies and procedures are followed Respond to all customer related issues in a timely manner to ensure positive relationships with customers Continually look at our demand model and develop efficient lanes in the spirit of continuous improvement Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, suppliers, and our customer base Maintain Columbia's fleet management tool, Maintenance Connection, for all relevant equipment Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned Always demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values Key Competencies Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Excellent oral and written communication skills Effective organizational and time management skills Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers Excellent analytical and attention to detail skills Ability to handle multiple and tight deadlines Effective coaching and leadership development skills Working knowledge of Fleet Management Passion for learning and servicing People Management This position will manage a diverse group of Line Haul Drivers. Work Environment This position works indoors and outdoors with occasional need for delivery driving. Physical Demands Lift/ carry 50 pounds Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Expected Hours of work This is a full-time position Travel Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) required Maintain a valid driver license with acceptable driving record Preferred Education and Experience Minimum three (3) years previous driving experience Supervisory experience a plus Compensation Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
