Description MaineHealth CorporateManagement/Leadership Summary: Under the leadership and general direction of the Vice President of Facilities Management for MaineHealth, the Senior Director of Facility Design & Construction provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for all planning, design, and construction activities across the healthcare system. This role manages a portfolio of hundreds of capital projects- often totaling hundreds of millions of dollars at any one time - ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. The Senior Director leads a multidisciplinary team of project managers, interior designers, space planners, architects, engineers, and construction professionals, fostering collaboration with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to create facilities that advance patient care, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
