Work arrangement - onsite North Pavilion, 2400 Pratt Street Work Schedule This position follows a three-day, 12-hour day-shiftschedule (7 AM - 7:30 PM) each week. Weekend rotations are every third weekend. Holidays as needed in rotation with the team. This job is an essential status, which means that attendance is expected during severe weather.
Perform varied clerical duties in support of general and special office activities to support the Nurse Manager in maintaining an efficient and effective operation. Duties and Responsibilities of this Level Meet the staffing needs of all hospitals within Duke University Health System. Schedule or arrange activities effectively; make staffing assignments within the prescribed schedule.
Perform routine clerical and typing tasks involved in processing varied office materials such as form letters, requisitions, memoranda, and reports or summaries.
Prepare and/or compose routine and general correspondence in accordance with established procedures. Performs other related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally equivalent to a high school education. Experience Work generally requires three months of clerical or general office support experience to become familiar with the activities involved with providing routine clerical support.
