Position Summary: The Web Developer is responsible for planning, designing, developing, integrating, and supporting medium to large-scale software solutions, with a primary focus on web-based application design and development. This role requires hands-on experience with the OutSystems Low-Code platform, AngularJS, .NET REST APIs, Python REST services, and SQL database access and design. The developer will work closely with internal teams and partner companies to create, enhance, and maintain in-house applications that drive business value. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using OutSystems, AngularJS, .NET REST APIs, Python REST services, and SQL databases.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, developers, and partner companies to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver robust, high-quality applications.
- Review and enhance existing applications and processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex production issues related to performance, data integrity, and application errors by reviewing logs, source code, and data.
- Participate in design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to ensure best practices and code quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and testing procedures.
- Utilize data analysis and SQL queries to support business reporting and decision-making.
- Ensure solutions are compliant with internal policies, security standards, and SOX requirements.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, coding standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrate initiative, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web/application development.
- At least 1 year of professional experience with OutSystems Low-Code platform, including application design, data modeling, and integration.
- Hands-on experience developing with AngularJS for dynamic web interfaces.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with .NET REST API development and integration.
- Experience developing RESTful services in Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL database design, development, and query optimization.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., git), DevOps tools, and modern development environments (e.g., Visual Studio, VS Code).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including partner companies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
- Experience with additional modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) preferred.
- Familiarity with OutSystems, other low-code platforms or integration tools preferred.
- Experience working with partner companies or external vendors on joint development projects preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of integration technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON) preferred.
