Join nVent as a Paint Engineering Supervisor, where you'll lead a high-performing team of technicians in powder coating and foam-in-place operations. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with leadership, offering opportunities to innovate, improve processes, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment. ** You will work on-site 5 days/week, in Anoka, MN. ** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Coach, mentor, and build technical depth within a group of technicians supporting multiple value streams.
- Drive operational excellence by supervising troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, chemical monitoring, and operator training to ensure optimal approaches and continuous improvement.
- Lead sophisticated projects such as automation upgrades, ergonomic improvements, and capital equipment installations while applying structured problem-solving and driving CER execution.
- Promote a safety-first environment using risk notification tools, ergonomic analysis, and management of change. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and environmental regulations.
- Partner with process engineers, automation teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions that enhance productivity and quality.
- Enable future growth and support roadmap development for new processes and products, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's (B.S.) degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related Engineering field required.
- 2+ years in paint, powder coating, or chemical processing is preferred.
- Previous people management experience is preferred, including an ability to lead and guide engineering and technical teams.
- Strong technical problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement principles.
- Ability to navigate multi-functional environments and inspire change.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for vendor visits, tradeshows, etc.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $89,300.00 - $165,800.00
