Role Description:

The Business Development Sales and Financial Operations Intern will support initiatives to identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive operations contributing to revenue growth of the AMD. The intern will assist with lead capture, customer facing communications, and opportunity tracking to support business expansion. This opportunity is ideal for juniors or seniors in college or university who are analytical, proactive, and eager to learn about business strategy and sales operations.

Learning Objectives:

Education:

Must be enrolled in a related Bachelor's degree program as a rising Junior or Senior at an accredited College or University.

Key Requirements & Competencies:

  • Junior or senior in college/university pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce specifically) is a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn about business development, strategy, and emerging technologies.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with an interest in sales and business operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent and close visual work at desk or computer.
  • Frequent sitting and working at desk.
  • Frequent verbal and written communication with team and other stakeholders by phone or video conferencing.

Time Requirements & Compensation:

  • Remote
  • 35 hours per week, June through August.
  • Compensation: $18.00/Hour
