Hiring Range: $225,000 - $260,000

The Division of General Internal Medicine at UMass Memorial Health Care is recruiting a full Academic Internal Medicine Physician to join a large outpatient practice at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Position Details:

  • Full-time position with UMass faculty appointment in a free-standing primary care facility comprised of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
  • Friendly, family-oriented, busy practice in a beautiful rural setting
  • Maintain high quality outpatient practice and teaching skills in our community health center
  • NP staffed urgent care nights and weekends
  • Excellent long-term support staff
  • EPIC EMR
  • On-site lab, x-ray, ultrasound, bone density, mammography, echo and medicine sub-specialists
  • UMass Internal Medicine Residency and UMass Chan Medical Student teaching site

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • DEA certification (or eligible to obtain).
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered primary care.
  • Ability to manage a broad spectrum of adult acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.
