System Tester

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Must have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, technical discipline or equivalent experience, such as direct hands-on experience with a particular system application.
• Three (3) years of experience testing a software intensive DoD weapon system; Experience developing testing strategies and detailed test procedures, based on system requirements, as well as test execution.
• Proven problem solving, written and oral communication skills and the ability to:
  
  
  
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Work in a fast paced, rapidly changing range/field environment
  • Work independently and interface professionally with other government agencies, contractors, military personnel
  • Work with others to meet established goals and program schedules
  • The ability to create and perform both manual and automated testing
  
  
  
  
• Experience and knowledge of systems engineering and testing practices throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in any of the Linux and Unix environments
• Experience with any of the following: C, C++, Java, Ada programming languages
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (or related) programs
• Experience with the DoD Acquisition lifecycle
