Current Employees: If you are currently employed at any of the Universities of Wisconsin, log in to Jobs Hub to apply through the internal application process. Job Category:Academic Staff Employment Type:Regular Job Profile:Communications Manager Job Summary:

The Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Hub is a new, campuswide initiative charged with activating a campuswide, founderforward strategy to expand the quantity, quality, breadth, density, and geographic reach of entrepreneurship. Strategic communication is a core enabler of that mission. We want someone who is skilled at telling meaningful stories, aligning campus partners, and building a distinct brand for the Hub and its spokes.

As the Hub's Communications Manager, you will reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Entrepreneurship and Executive Director of the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Hub, with a dotted-line connection to the The Office of Strategic Communication. You will plan, develop, and deliver multichannel communications that advance the Hub's goals, steward the UW and Hub brand, and create clear, consistent narratives across campus and with internal and external partners. You will liaise closely with the Office of Strategic Communication to align voice, campaigns, and media relations.

We want you to tell bold, peoplecentered stories and connect programs across UW-Madison. This role requires flexibility while our Executive Director is being established and a strong ability to implement their vision once in place. You'll stand up core communications operations, then evolve them as leadership priorities and campus needs take shape. You'll also help articulate and amplify the Hub's founderforward strategy and hubandspoke model rooted in Empowering the Wisconsin Idea.

You are a highly organized, proactive selfstarter who can adapt to changing priorities and operate confidently amid ambiguity. You can communicate effectively with a broad set of stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, alumni, business leaders, and media, and enjoy collaborating in a developmental, serviceoriented environment. You'll balance strategy and execution: you can craft positioning and also build the plans, content, and dashboards that make it real.

If you're energized by onsite work in Madison, collaborating with exceptional founders and campus partners, and shaping a visible, missioncritical brand, we'd love to hear from you. As you help the Hub grow and develop, you will have opportunities to expand scope, innovate, and lead.
