Leads assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in support of physician practice operations. Responsibilities: Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff. Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures. Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Inventories clinical supplies and places supply orders to maintain desired levels. Receives and organizes the handling of medication samples. CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Any issuing authority accepted EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required Additional Information Organization: Henry Ford Providence Hospitals Shift: Day Job Union Code: Not Applicable
