Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Manager, Analytics & Data to our team!

The Manager, Analytics & Data is responsible for engaging internal and external customers to develop the enterprise data and analytics solutions that bring business value by providing critical, accurate and timely information. This role will be instrumental in promoting data-driven decision making and adoption of business intelligence and reporting tools by Navitus' customers as well as throughout the organization. This position requires business acumen paired with analytical thinking and technical ability. Communication and collaboration skills are a must as you will interact with various business stakeholders throughout the organization. The Manager, Analytics and Data will focus on staff coaching and development, promoting the culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?

    Possess thorough understanding and develops working relationships with multiple business areas that Analytics team supports, e.g., Sales, Implementation, Account Management, Legal, Government Programs, etc
  • Leads large complex cross departmental projects and initiatives that bring business value. Develops new analytic solutions and data products
  • Attends client meetings and RFP presentations, conducts demos of Navitus' client facing tools offerings tailored to client's specific needs
  • Works with the business to prioritize analytics requests backlog using objective criteria such as Cost of Delay, criticality, ROI, etc
  • Displays leadership qualities necessary for managing large number of people. Coaches staff through regular 1x1 meetings, mentors and develops talent by providing constructive feedback, growth, and learning opportunities
  • Provides leadership and guidance to staff on data analysis approaches relative to designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions that bring value and have tangible ROI
  • Collaborates with cross functional leadership in the development and implementation of strategic planning that aligns with company needs and priorities
  • Provides consultative guidance and feedback to internal and external customer on the business dashboards and KPIs, challenges and asks questions
  • Collaborates with IT, Architecture and Data Governance to facilitate creation of data structures that would allow more efficient reporting for internal and external client needs
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • BA/BS with focus on business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or equivalent combined education and experience preferred
  • A master's degree is preferred in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare economic/financial modeling and analysis and a track record of tangible success in leadership skills and abilities
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, and BI tools, Qlik Sense experience is preferred
  • Ability to use supplemental software tools (Excel, R, Python) as needed to achieve analytic results defined in project plans
  • Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, relational databases and statistical applications
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
