Title: Grant Administrator Specialist $66,539 - $99,320 / Posted Thru: 1/23/2026 Location: Remote/virtual - Must work and live in the state of Michigan Purpose: This position helps administer programs and complete assignments in the Policy and Planning Bureau of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. This position assists with responsibilities related to the Rural Health Transformation Program. This position manages all grants across the four initiatives, including overseeing the internal processes to launch Grant Funding Opportunities (GFOs), reviews applications, awards funding, and finalizes agreements with partner organizations. Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Experience: Four years of professional experience managing grants and contracts. Important Skills and Characteristics:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Position requires the use of a laptop. This position is occasionally required to transport a laptop, audiovisual equipment and brochures. This position may require some very limited travel. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: No assigned responsibility. IMPACT ON PROJECTS, SERVICES AND OPERATIONS: This position has a direct impact on the quality of services provided by MPHI to MDHHS.This position helps administer programs and complete assignments in the Policy and Planning Bureau.
