The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Position Summary Responsible for the function and supervision of the Athletic Department, coaches, scheduling, and general supervision of athletes. There is potential for the position to oversee one of the athletic programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise recruitment of all athletic players/student athlete.
- Supervise and manage all sports with budget control.
- Supervise academic counseling and advisement for all team players.
- Prepare budgets related to athletics and supervise the budget usage.
- Schedule all competitions for all athletics.
- Coordinate and plan all team travel and keep proper records related to this.
- Secure personnel for all home events and/or matches, game officials and judges.
- Manage purchasing of all equipment and supplies and maintenance thereof.
- Direct the supervision of housing of athletes.
- Manage and maintain the practice facilities.
- Supervise student athletes regarding academic eligibility and academic conduct.
- Discipline, as necessary, student athletes in association with coaches.
- Coach specific team for all competitions.
- Organize and lead community service-learning projects for coaches and athletes.
- Promote the mission and vision of the college.
- Organize and lead community interactions with coaches and athletes.
- Maintain adherence to all conference, regional and national rules and regulations.
- Organize and administer fundraising activities for athletics in association with the overall college foundation mission.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the college.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
Preferred:
- Master's degree.
- 3+ years of athletic budget management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Successful coaching experience.
- Applicant must be committed to excellence in coaching.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.

Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily sedentary with periods of standing, walking, lecturing and laboratory or classroom instruction that at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Work hours are variable based upon the needs to the college, with evenings and some weekends required.
