This position will be a hybrid work format, requiring a minimum of 3 days a week in person at the HAP corporate office in Troy, MI.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Manager, Brand and Marketing Production, will drive results through the development and execution of strategies to grow customer business and maintain/improve the brand identity and image of HAP and its subsidiaries. He or she will counsel senior leaders on consumer perception of brand, to ensure the brand remains relevant to consumers and that all initiatives support the brand promise.

The Manager of Brand and Marketing Production oversees the development of HAP's creative and branding efforts by leading the creative and marketing production team in the development of marketing and promotional materials, including ads, collateral, communications, and promotional material.
Collaborate with creative team and external agencies, designers, and vendors to ensure all marketing communications adhere to style guidelines and brand standards.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support development of brand vision, manage marketing communications strategies and creative deliverables to support the brand and its portfolio.
  • Develop content to support sales, marketing, product promotion, member acquisition, satisfaction, retention, health education and community outreach.
  • Act as the brand steward to maintain consistency in brand applications.
  • Responsible for management of the internal and external creative and marketing production teams.
  • Responsible for coordinating with multiple internal teams to execute positioning, messaging, and content development across print and digital channels; additionally, this role should foster transparency among internal business partners and constituents relating to communications.
  • Represent the Marketing and Communications department while providing account management to HAP internal business partners.
  • Advise the VP of Marketing and other marketing department team members in the status of their projects.
  • Maintain an archive and filing system for rapid retrieval of all HAP marketing assets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, Graphic Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years Marketing experience - with a focus on brand positioning, awareness, building and management strategies.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Project Management and production experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop strong, trusting and effectively collaborative relationships with a diverse group of internal and external departments and suppliers.
  • Capable of keeping a full plate of projects on track and on budget.
  • Ability to manage a large list of ongoing and diverse creative and marketing production projects and be able to anticipate the difficulties of the creative and production process.
  • Have a strong working knowledge and expertise of marketing process, tools, and deliverables.
  • Fully understand the role of marketing in the bigger picture of a company and in the marketplace.
  • Be aware of the power a strong brand has in the role of marketing and in the long- term competitiveness of a company.
  • Be able to work efficiently and effectively with outside marketing partners and suppliers and deliver a stellar marketing product with stellar market results.
  • Exceptional track record of detail management, interpersonal relations, and team orientated success.
  • Ability to utilize existing knowledge and experience and think out of the box to raise the effectiveness of current and future marketing projects.
