What is the role about?

This role drives the success of complex national projects by leveraging deep knowledge of Endress+Hauser's solutions portfolio-including digital services, automation platforms, and integration offerings-to manage the proposal process for Solutions, Services, and Main Instrument Vendor (MIV) initiatives. Working closely with the Project Pursuit Team, Industry Managers, and Product Managers, this position applies application expertise and industry insights to develop engineering scopes, qualify opportunities, and ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Clarify detailed scope of work with all key stakeholders
  • Design, costing, scheduling and production of proposals leading to winning new projects.
  • Assist the Regions and Project Pursuit Team with pricing and delivery on engineered solutions.
  • Work with the sales organization to develop a project specific value proposition to convince them that we have provided the best-in-class solution for the scope of the project.
  • Prepare quotations and solutions bid proposals.
  • Management and development of proposed standard processes, tooling and structures for enhancement of solutions proposals.
  • Review and approve solution applications and 3rd party suppliers
  • Work with Project Managers, Sales Order Specialists, and customers to assure incoming orders are "clean" for SAP entry.

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Travel required: 20-30% (Occasional field visits with field sales personnel)
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of managers, reps, and customers

You may have (preferred):

  • Expertise in Endress+Hauser products and process automation, with experience in large project acquisition, delivery, and go-to-market strategies through representative partners.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, including P&IDs, RFQs, RFPs, and bid specifications.
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative.
  • Collaborates effectively with others, sometimes across departments, to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer experience.
  • Prioritizes and acts in the best interests of the company by advancing organizational goals, focusing on solution-oriented issues, and making clear, decisive choices.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on gathering and interpreting data to develop innovative solutions.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, capable of utilizing critical thinking to ensure precision in tasks.
