    Job Description

    As the APM US Strategic Procurement Specialist, you will support the strategic management of a diverse spending profile across both direct and indirect categories. This role focuses on implementing procurement practices that deliver commercial value and align with APM's mission to positively impact lives through the services we deliver.

    You will report to the Strategic Procurement Director and collaborate with stakeholders across the US to bring spending under strategic management, assist in developing sourcing frameworks, and ensure compliance with global standards while tailoring solutions to the US market.

    Strategic Procurement Execution

    • Manage sourcing and category activities across US direct and indirect spending.
    • Support commercial analysis and execution of procurement initiatives.
    • Maintain category taxonomy and assist with spend reporting.

    Governance & Capability Support

    • Support e-procurement tools, templates, and control frameworks.
    • Assist with procurement transformation across US business units.
    • Coordinate with global sourcing frameworks and S2P technology processes.
    Qualifications
    • 2-5 years' experience in strategic sourcing and procurement lifecycle management.
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
    • Experience in supporting procurement Process, People, & Technology transformation.
    • Strong commercial and analytical skills with a data-informed approach.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a decentralized model with a collaborative and influencing mindset.
    • Passion for purpose-driven work and continuous improvement with an ability to support change across a diverse stakeholder group.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver value-add savings beyond price reductions, including process efficiencies, risk mitigation, and total cost of ownership improvements
