Job Summary:

Oversees the operations of the branch. In partnership with the Branch Manager, supervises Branch Services staff and utilizes resources to provide members of Langley with impeccable service. Maintains exceptional service quality by training the staff to utilize consultative selling to offer financial products and services that meet or exceed members' needs. Provides Branch Services Staff on-going individual coaching and ensures their continued development.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Supervise operational and administrative activities to include timekeeping, scheduling, balancing, opening, and closing activities.
  • Drive branch results that align with the achievement of Success Sharing goals.
  • Grow market share of loans and deposits for members assigned to branch and new members joining Langley.
  • Support and coach the sales and service culture by providing individual and team coaching weekly and monthly.
  • Deliver on-going feedback on staff performance and development.
  • Foster teamwork by professionally interacting with peers, supervisors and other Langley employees.
  • Actively participate in cross departmental collaboration to ensure effective and efficient communication.
  • Participate in ongoing evaluation of processes and procedures to ensure the member experience is met.


  • Process consumer loan products and services ensuring compliance with Federal Regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures to include personal, auto, home equity line of credit, and credit cards.
  • Process all types of transactions for members including, balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account opening, and all other requests.
  • Provide assistance to members with all account and loan related service needs including offering financial advice that will improve their financial well-being.
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience in a financial institution or Retail Sales industry.
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred.
