Description and Requirements

The Integrated Portfolio Manager will serve as the primary focal point for the Product Portfolio Integration team, driving strategic planning and optimization for the PC portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring data-driven decisions, ROI management, and alignment with global business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate insights and influence stakeholders across worldwide teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Analysis & Optimization
    • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to evaluate PC portfolio performance across consumer, commercial, SMB, and Chrome segments.
    • Develop and present ROI-based optimization proposals using productivity KPIs and complexity metrics.
    • Leverage historical performance data and industry forecasts to guide investment decisions.
  • Gate Process & Portfolio Planning
    • Own and manage the Gate process (A/B/C) for portfolio planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
    • Support long-term planning (3-year roadmap) and resource allocation for future product generations.
    • Collaborate with segment portfolio teams to integrate plans into a unified PC portfolio strategy.
  • Market & Industry Research
    • Lead marketing and industry trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning.
    • Prepare independent reports and insights for senior executives to support strategic decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as the single point of contact for the Integrated Portfolio team in the U.S., working closely with global teams in China, Japan, and the U.S.
    • Engage with stakeholders across R&D, UX, CTO, and software/cloud teams to ensure portfolio alignment.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, actionable formats.
  • Digital Tools & Reporting
    • Utilize Excel and Power BI for data analysis and dashboard creation.
    • Translate data insights into compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive reviews.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, product planning, or business analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and deliver insights to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience in PC or technology industry.
  • Familiarity with ROI methodologies and productivity KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Mandarin language skills (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of global business operations and willingness to work flexible hours for international collaboration.

This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates that are already local to Raleigh, NC are preferred.
