Data Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Health Information Management, the Database Integrity Specialist performs hospital-wide quality controls to assure the integrity of patient information. Analyzes database conversion data and corrects erroneous information. Performs Medical Record reviews. Interacts with Hospital managers, staff and patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Bachelor's degree and completion of an AHIMA approved program in Health Information Administration.
• Experience
  • Three to five years Health Information Management experience.
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • RHIA or RHIT.
• Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook a must.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
