Overview
Microsoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft, from Azure to AI. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of hundreds of data centers, managed by a team of subject matter experts working to support services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide. Within CO+I, theCore Datacenter Services (CDS)team is responsible for the development and implementation of global strategies across our Datacenters (DCs). The Process Improvement and efficiency (PI+E) team enables resource efficiency across DC Ops through Continuous Improvement focused program management and analysis. Efficiency is a significant focus of this team. We are looking for an efficiency PM to help enable this space. The efficiency team quantifies operational impact by embedding standardized metrics like cost savings, headcount shifts, and utilization gains into the One DC Ops Lifecycle, ensuring visibility, accountability, and prioritization of high-value initiatives across datacenter operations. Responsibilities
Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
