Overview
The Commercial Products and Infrastructure (CPI) organization is responsible for Microsoft cloud and AI capacity planning, margin management, and disciplined resource allocation across Microsoft's portfolio. Within CPI, the Resource Investment Strategy finance team partners with engineering leaders to help ensure that resources supporting approximately $20B in investments and ~100K engineering FTEs are aligned to strategic engineering priorities. There is an opening for a Senior Finance Manager to join the Experiences + Devices (E+D) Engineering finance team. This role includes responsibilities such as financial modeling and business analysis, partnering with engineering leaders on resource allocation decisions, and the development and ownership of efficient financial processes. The role requires the ability to operate as a systems thinker, apply structured analysis, and navigate ambiguity and complexity while supporting engineering leaders as a finance partner. This role provides exposure to senior leadership and supports expense management and resource allocation decisions by aligning investments and costs with prioritized engineering product roadmaps. Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
