As part of theCO+I Energy Team, you will join a team of professionals responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and delivering strategic energy projects. The candidate will manage a portfolio of activities toidentifyand execute energy opportunities to advance Microsoft's datacenter growth, in line with strategies toleveragesustainability, time to market and economic valuein order tosolidify Microsoft's leadership in providing infrastructure for the global AI economy. Microsoft Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) seeks a new Senior Power Infrastructure Delivery Program Manager, focused on datacenters for the Americas region. The Program Manager will be responsible for the facilitation and delivery of Microsoft's industry-leading datacenter power infrastructure including the development of new technology and advanced concepts from pre-programming through design development, construction, and the turnover to Operations.This role will provide infrastructure coordination, management, and overall leadership for our datacenter power infrastructure. To be successful in this role the candidate will manage and oversee the delivery of multiple, concurrent, complete distribution, substation, and transmission projects supporting datacenter solutions aligned with the scopes, schedules, and budgets of the projects. The Program Manager will manage and engage with key stakeholder groups within Microsoft, the utility power infrastructure provider, and outside vendors who specialize in datacenter engineering, construction, and operations. Successful candidates will coordinate with multiple Power Utility and Microsoft provider teams of engineers and designers to deliver projects aligned with the defined scope, schedule, and budget.The candidate must have excellent project management, communication, organization, and leadership skills. Candidates must possess a high level of proficiency in transmission and substation design and construction. Candidates must also be able to work with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
