Role: Senior Accountant
Salary: $110,000-$120,000 + bonus
Location:New York City, NY
Fully Onsite the first 90 Days, 3-4 days onsite after the initial 90 Day Period

This role is a hybrid SeniorAccountantposition with a strong emphasis on both day-to-day transactional accounting and process optimization. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner, proactively identifying opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline accounting processes while supporting core accounting functions.

***Must have a systems oriented and process improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Perform and oversee day-to-day transactional accounting activities

  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations

  • Maintain fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and inventory schedules

  • Drive key components of the month-end close process

  • Support inventory and multi-unit accounting operations

Systems & Process Optimization
  • Evaluate existing accounting processes and operating procedures

  • Identify, recommend, test, and assist with the implementation of process improvements

  • Optimize spreadsheets and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy

  • Leverage ERP functionality to maximize system capabilities

Technology & Tools
  • Experience with an ERP system required
    Partner with leadership to ensure systems are utilized to their fullest potential

  • Review and improve usage of operational software and related tools
