Job Description:

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Entry-Level Engineer to contribute to the Advance Team.

The Entry-Level Engineering position reports to the Director of Engineering and works closely with our engineering team to detail and document designs, implement design changes, support product testing, and make engineering data entry. This position provides an opportunity to gain responsibility through work experience and further education, with the ability to develop into a higher-level engineering position.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating detailed design drawings using Solidworks and AutoCAD
  • Transferring ProE, CREO, and Autocad files to Solidworks
  • Updating design drawings and CAD models
  • Entering data into the MRP system
  • Conducting and supporting product testing
  • Support prototype and sample builds
  • Communicating with coworkers and suppliers about product details

The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum 2-year engineering degree required or graduating soon with a BS in Engineering
  • Good understanding of engineering principles and practices
  • Proficient in Solidworks, Autocad, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to resolve less complex matters on own, exercising judgment and initiative
  • Good communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Good time management skills
  • Detail-oriented

The below would also be desirable though not essential:

  • 1-2 years of engineering or engineering technology experience - mechanical preferred
  • Mechanical and J1939 experience is a plus

Annual Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000
