Here's what you'd do:

• The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks.
• The Machine Operator I will produce precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.
• Perform basic set-ups and operations of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of mechanical units or fabricated parts in an assigned production area.
• Operate basic tools and safely handle materials.
• Check and inspect parts to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.
• Maintain logs and other necessary documents.
• Work with direct supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1^st shift).

Length: Contract to Hire.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operating machines in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Previous manufacturing or related work experience.
• Ability to acquire manufacturing job skills.
• Ability to learn departmental policies and procedures.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
