Customer Service Representative - Case Resolution Focus *Schaumburg, IL (100% OnSite)*
*ContracttoHire Opportunity (6+ Months)* *Pay: $20.00/hour* About the Role This is *not* a traditional highvolume call center role. We're looking for a *detailoriented Customer Service Representative* who thrives in a *heavy email, case management, and problemsolving environment*. You'll support internal account teams that manage large vehicle fleets, helping drivers and business partners resolve complex issues-from vehicle ordering questions to urgent situations like impounded vehicles. Success in this role requires strong written communication, research skills, and the ability to think critically to find the right solution. What You'll Do * Manage a *high volume of customer emails* and service cases * Investigate issues, research solutions, and resolve complex customer concerns * Support internal account managers with ongoing fleetrelated requests * Assist customers with vehicle orders, billing updates, insurance documentation, and account changes * Communicate daily with internal departments using collaboration tools * Use a CRM system to document, track, and follow up on cases * Make *outbound followup calls* when necessary to gather missing information * Multitask efficiently while typing and documenting details accurately * Educate drivers on services and next steps to prevent future issues Schedule & Work Environment *Hours:* Monday-Friday, *9:00 AM - 6:00 PM* * 1hour unpaid lunch * Two 15minute paid breaks *Work Environment:* * 100% onsite in a modern Schaumburg office * Business casual dress code * Collaborative office setting (no remote or hybrid option) *Office Perks May Include:* * Brandnew office space * Recreational amenities (pingpong tables, fitness offerings, wellness spaces) * Optional overtime opportunities What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: * *2+ years of officebased customer service experience* * Strong written and email communication skills * Professional command of the English language (grammar and sentence structure matter) * Comfortable working in *multiple systems and on multiple monitors* * Proficiency with Microsoft Office: *Outlook, Word, and basic Excel* * Strong attention to detail and problemsolving ability * High school diploma or equivalent * *Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher* (typing test required) Nice to Have: * Experience using a CRM platform (Salesforce a plus) * Prior case management or emailheavy support experience Why This Opportunity Stands Out * *Stable, growing organization* with longterm career potential * Strong chance for *hireon or extension* beyond the initial contract * Opportunity to prove yourself and grow within a customer operations or account support track * Consistent weekday schedule with optional overtime * Professional office environment with modern amenities Application Process To be considered, candidates will complete: * Resume with brief professional summary * Typing assessment * Short written/email exercise * Responses to a few situational and background questions background check, drug screening, and education verification required.
