Vaco is actively seeking an Agile Delivery Analyst for a unique opportunity to join an extremely stable and nationally respected organization in Memphis.

Position Summary

The Agile Delivery Analyst is responsible for evaluating and optimizing workflows from intake to delivery across the organization by strengthening delivery practices, aligning workflows and tooling, ensuring visibility, and enabling continuous process improvement.

This role sits between delivery leadership and technical tooling/configuration specialists, serving as a connective layer across business, product, engineering, and delivery stakeholders to ensure work is executed in a consistent, scalable, and measurable way.

The ideal candidate can operate beyond a single team level, apply multiple delivery methodologies objectively (Scrum, Kanban, project-based/hybrid), and recommend the right delivery approach based on work type. The role requires strong process mapping capability, delivery coordination, and hands-on familiarity with Jira, Smartsheet, and enterprise workflow platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support and optimize delivery execution across multiple teams within an Agile SDLC environment, improving predictability, throughput, and delivery maturity.
  • Analyze end-to-end delivery processes and create process maps to identify gaps, bottlenecks, handoff issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend delivery approaches (Scrum, Kanban, project-based/hybrid) based on the work type, complexity, and stakeholder needs, with no methodology bias.
  • Participate in delivery ceremonies and operating rhythms as needed (standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, demos, cross-team planning/synchronization).
  • Partner with Product Owners and delivery leaders to strengthen intake, backlog readiness, prioritization, and execution planning.
  • Monitor progress toward commitments and drive improvements in delivery quality, predictability, flow efficiency, cycle time, and delivery metrics.
  • Identify and remove impediments to delivery through structured problem-solving, escalation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Collaborate with delivery leadership to evolve and maintain delivery guidelines, standards, governance, and best practices across the organization.
  • Partner with tooling/configuration specialists to translate delivery needs into practical workflow solutions and scalable tooling structures.
  • Assist with Jira configuration as needed (workflows, issue types/hierarchies, custom fields, boards, screens, reporting), supporting alignment between tooling and process.
  • Support and optimize Smartsheet, Jira, and other workflow/automation platforms, identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and standardization.
  • Promote adoption of engineering best practices such as CI/CD, automation, DevOps principles, and quality-focused delivery execution where applicable.
  • Build, maintain, and socialize clear documentation on processes, workflow standards, delivery operating models, and tooling practices.
