A growing residential construction manufacturer is seeking a Truss Builder to join its production team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, reading build drawings, and contributing to high-quality construction materials used in homebuilding projects. With a consistent weekday schedule, a 4-day workweek, and room to grow within a stable operation, this role offers both reliability and long-term potential.

Hours & Pay

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm (4-day workweek)
• Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
• Physical Requirement: Standing for the entire shift; lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly

What You'll Do

• Read and interpret build drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine truss specifications
• Select, prepare, and handle lumber and other materials for truss assembly
• Assemble roof and floor trusses using hand tools and power tools according to specifications
• Inspect completed trusses to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Maintain accurate documentation of materials used, trusses built, and production issues

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in carpentry, truss building, construction, or a related manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious mindset
• Ability to stand for the duration of an entire shift and work effectively in a manufacturing environment
