This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in high-stakes environments, understands load-path safety, and takes pride in executing precise, coordinated lifts involving extreme weights and oversized structures.

Hours & Pay



  • Shift: 1st Shift
  • Pay: $25.00 per hour and up (based on experience)
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
  • Training: Conducted on 1st shift
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 lbs. (with crane-assisted heavy loads)

What You'll Do



  • Receive, inspect, and document inbound equipment, steel structures, and long-lead components
  • Prepare outbound shipments including crates, bills of lading, and packing lists
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records within Deltek and D-Tools ERP systems
  • Operate overhead cranes, dual-hoist systems, and spreader bars to safely lift loads ranging from 40,000 to 120,000+ lbs.
  • Perform rigging calculations involving load weight, center of gravity, sling angles, and lift planning
  • Execute complex, oversized lifts with a strong focus on safety and efficiency
  • Plan and manage safe load paths when moving large modular eHouse structures within the facility
  • Operate forklifts ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 lb capacity, as well as pallet jacks and telehandlers
  • Stage, organize, and distribute materials to support production workflows
  • Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Perform equipment inspections, maintain rigging logs, and ensure certification compliance
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere strictly to PPE and safety protocols


What You Bring



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified overhead crane operator
  • Certified rigger
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving with heavy rigging and overhead crane operations
  • Proven experience handling loads between 40,000 and 120,000 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret rigging charts, drawings, and load diagrams
  • Strong situational awareness during heavy-lift operations
  • Clear, effective communication with spotters, operators, and team members
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and inventory control skills
  • Ability to work in a shop-floor environment with suspended loads, noise, dust, and welding activity
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends as required
