Leidos Defense Sector is seeking for a talented lead training coordinator to drive our Montana training team. The responsibilities for this position include leading a team in all aspects of training coordination activities, during all phases of operations. Coordinating with key stakeholders within the state and at the federal level, providing cradle to grave support throughout the whole process. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading and coordinating project execution by defining objectives, creating a plan and timeline, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring overall success

  • Coordinate training plans with Special Operations Forces (SOF) units focusing on operational readiness requirements

  • Manage logistics requirements that support training events

  • Creating a detailed outline of project objectives, schedule, tasks, and scope to set expectations, guide team members with project execution, and ensure stakeholder buy-in

  • Maintain master schedule of training events and internal schedule of support required

  • Work with the team to ensure all staff administrative requirements are completed

  • Liaison with local State and Federal Government customers and outside agencies in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide support and guidance to site manager in the execution of daily activities

  • Ensure compliance with Leidos operations, safety, and maintenance policies and procedures

  • Provide feedback to Management on daily activities

  • Author Statements of Work and manage Sub-Contractors as required

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to processes to address them.

  • Planning, allocating, and utilizing resources strategically withinthe project

  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact the success ofthe project

  • Ensure supporting employees are trained to perform their mission in accordance with the Leidos training procedure

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+years of related experience. Additional years of relevant experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute education requirements.

  • US Citizen; Currently possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI after hire.

  • Experience with Special Operations Forces (SOF) training process, specifically with individual services Mission Essential Task Lists (METL)

  • Capable of working autonomously with little or no supervision

  • Depth of knowledge in military Regulations and Publications

  • Knowledge in leading the execution of training processes, projects and tactical employment

  • Ability to write reports, maintain and update an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

  • 25% travel to CONUS customer and company locations required

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Master's Degree with 6+ years of related experience.

  • Currently possess and active PMP Certification.

  • Experience with MS Project, Office, PowerPoint

  • Knowledge and experience with FAA Part 107 guidelines

  • Knowledge and experience with Multi-Domain Operations

  • Experience with operational airborne ISR

  • Experience with Earned Value Management

Pay Range:Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
