Project Manager

As the Project Manager, you will manage the successful planning, execution and delivery of short-term and long-term projects to help PPG's Industrial Coatings business achieve its growth strategy. You will collaborate with teams, manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.

This will be a hybrid role located in Pittsburgh, PA - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. You will report to the Head of Strategy Execution Office.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any project risks.
• Develop project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular updates on project status, including progress, challenges, and changes to scope and timelines.
• Gather and incorporate partner feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned.
• Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived.
• Facilitate the transition of project deliverables to operational teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years' relevant experience in project management, with experience delivering projects on time and within budget. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
