About the Role

MWH is seeking a Safety Systems Compliance Specialist to support the back-end, data-driven operations of our Safety organization. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of safety who is energized by data management, systems, reporting, and process improvement.

This position is onsite in our corporate office in Broomfield, CO, Monday-Friday. The role will spend approximately 75% of time supporting safety operations through data, systems, and reporting, and 25% partnering with safety leaders on programs and initiatives. It is well-suited for a professional who enjoys working at the intersection of safety, technology, and operational insight.

Supporting a distributed national safety organization, this role plays a key part in enhancing visibility into safety performance across projects by delivering accurate data, meaningful reporting, and reliable system support.

Essential Functions



  • Manage and maintain data, indicators, and metrics, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across projects
  • Support training records, safety prequalification, readiness reviews, and compliance tracking
  • Prepare and deliver standard and ad-hoc safety reports, trend analysis (up/down), targets, and performance tracking
  • Learn, support, and maintain safety-related functionality across multiple enterprise systems and platforms, including project management, document control, and construction management tools
  • Assist with migrating and organizing safety data within SharePoint and enterprise systems
  • Interface with Claims Management and Directors of Safety to provide data, reporting, and operational support
  • Partner with safety leadership to support ongoing safety programs and initiatives
  • Work in accordance with company safety policies and procedures, promoting a strong safety culture


Basic Qualifications



  • 3-6 years of experience supporting data management, reporting, systems, or operational processes in a construction, engineering, industrial, or similarly regulated environment
  • Working knowledge of construction or industrial safety concepts
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, analyze, and present data in a clear, actionable format
  • Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems and platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work primarily in-office Monday-Friday, with minimal jobsite travel


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience supporting safety programs, training systems, or compliance tracking within construction, engineering, or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise construction technology platforms, including project management, document control, or reporting systems
  • Experience with data standardization, reporting dashboards, or performance metrics
  • Ability to identify and communicate trends, risks, or gaps using operational data
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, such as safety leadership, operations, or claims management teams
  • Exposure to safety metrics, KPIs, or leading/lagging indicators
  • Background in operations analytics, reporting, or process improvement
  • Experience supporting system implementations, migrations, or process transitions (a plus, not required)


Compensation



  • This position offers a base salary range of $72,000 to $87,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
