What this job involves:

This senior-level position directs complex project management services for mission-critical and technical environments, with a primary focus on data center and critical operations facilities. You'll serve as the primary client contact while managing all aspects of project delivery from conception through completion, ensuring superior service delivery that meets both client and JLL standards. This role requires expert coordination of multidisciplinary teams, strategic budget and schedule management, and the ability to navigate complex technical requirements in high-stakes environments.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

* Developing and executing project-specific goals, schedules, budgets, and strategies while establishing clear success criteria that align with client and JLL objectives

* Serving as the primary senior-level contact with clients throughout the project lifecycle, building and maintaining strong relationships through face-to-face, telephonic, and online interactions

* Guiding clients and project teams through the complete design implementation process, including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documentation phases

* Developing and maintaining detailed project budgets based on historical and market data, managing performance against schedules, milestones, and critical path items across multiple concurrent projects

* Preparing and managing RFPs for vendor and contractor services, overseeing the selection process and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and regulatory standards

* Facilitating and leading critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, key stakeholders, and external partners to ensure clear communication and understanding of responsibilities

* Conducting due diligence efforts on behalf of internal teams, project partners, clients, and end users while maintaining comprehensive project documentation

* Identifying, managing, and mitigating potential project risks and liabilities related to fees, reputation, and compliance, escalating concerns to management as appropriate

* Contributing to business development by maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, serving as a subject matter expert, and supporting revenue growth initiatives

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

* 7+ years of experience being directly responsible for managing Tier 2, 3, or 4 Data Center(s) or critical manufacturing operations

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management or related activities

* Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings, furniture, and space planning concepts

* Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and change orders across all project types and sizes

* Highly organized with strong analytical skills and ability to articulate and communicate analyzed data effectively to clients and team members

* Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact professionally with executive-level clients and external team members (architects, contractors, client representatives)

* Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project

* Willingness to travel occasionally as needed (0%-50%)

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

* Professional certifications such as LEED, AIA, PE, or PMP

* Recognition as a leader within the firm for specialized expertise (e.g., sustainability)

* Experience assuming lead roles on complex client assignments
