Recruiting Coordinator / Junior Recruiter

Location: Jacksonville, FL (In-Office - Corporate Office)
Schedule: 30 hours/week to start; opportunity to transition to 40 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent hire

Position Overview

Our client, a growing logistics and distribution organization headquartered in Jacksonville, is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator / Junior Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for hourly workforce roles. This is an in-office position supporting a fast-paced operations environment and offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time, permanent role based on performance and business needs.

This role is ideal for someone early in their recruiting career who is highly organized, people-oriented, and interested in learning full-cycle recruiting within an operational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support high-volume recruiting efforts for hourly positions across operations and logistics teams

  • Assist with posting jobs, reviewing applications, and screening candidates

  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates

  • Communicate with candidates regarding interview scheduling, next steps, and onboarding requirements

  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system

  • Partner with operations leaders to understand hiring needs and priorities

  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and pre-employment requirements

  • Provide general administrative support to the recruiting and HR teams as needed

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, staffing, or a related administrative role (preferred)

  • Interest in talent acquisition and hiring for hourly or operational roles

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, in-office environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic recruiting systems (ATS experience a plus)

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional

Additional Details
  • In-office role based in Jacksonville corporate office

  • Starts at approximately 30 hours per week with flexibility
