Function:

Job Summary:The Senior Product Stewardship Analyst is responsible for supporting the EHSQ Mission by coordinating and enhancing quality initiatives across corporate activities related to product quality and stewardship objectives. Specifically, projects will focus on maintaining systems for the management of product quality, including relevant specifications, certifications and registrations. This role is responsible for ensuring assignments meet the scope, schedule, cost, and analysis objectives of the business. This role will interface with customers, as well as the Sales, Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Legal, and Supply Chain functions of the organization. Job Description:

Major Responsibilities:

Product Quality Assurance

  • Coordinate the systematic approach to production and distribution of products that conform to product quality and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with locations to ensure sustained product quality and specification adherence.
  • Compile and report monthly metrics for product quality, including related incidents, customer complaints and production control information to manufacturing and distribution leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to promote effective investigation of product quality issues and deviations. Coordinate with customers for sample collection and submission and collection of other product issue related information to support investigation. Provide technical support on issue resolution and ensure lessons learned are shared across the organization.
  • Conduct CF location or customer site quality audits as required.

Product Stewardship

  • Manage updates to the IFA Protect & Sustain Product Stewardship certification, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and other necessary product quality certifications across all applicable locations.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate departments and management to ensure product stewardship fundamentals and best practices are integrated, understood, and implemented in appropriate areas.
  • Gather information on developing areas of product specifications and product stewardship expectations and advises manufacturing leadership of potential effects, costs and changes needed.
  • Represent CF on Trade Associations and Working Groups focused on standards development related to product stewardship and product regulatory compliance.

Position Reports To: Manager, Product Stewardship

Incumbent Attributes:

  • Education: BS/BA or its equivalent in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physical Science, or a related field.
  • Years of experience: 7+ years of related professional work experience required; 3-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Other unique job relevant attributes:
    • Familiarity with product regulations like FDA, REACH, CLP, TSCA, GHS, HazCom, DOT, ADR, SARA, CBAM, Chemical Diversion, and State Right-to-Know.
    • Familiarity with International Product Stewardship Standards such as IFA Protect & Sustain.
    • Experience working within a Quality Management System environment preferred
    • Experience leading investigations of quality incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints; root cause analysis (RCA) techniques and development of corrective actions and preventative actions (CAPA).
    • Time management and organizational skills; including the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and assignments with competing demands
    • Ability to perform analytical-related activities of large amounts of data and identify trends
    • Strong skills in MS Excel, Access, and Word to combine and analyze large amounts of data from various sources, and generate reports and graphics
    • Skill in effectively communicating complex information verbally and in writing
    • Skill in analyzing and summarizing data gleaned from a variety of sources and preparing benchmark reports
    • Skill in researching and supporting the implementation of state-of-the-art sustainable practices
    • Must be able to obtain security certification including Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

Estimated base pay for the position is typically between: $94,700 - $124,900.

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
