Role Overview

The Digital Experience Optimization Manager will play a critical role in evolving Digital Store 2.0, driving measurable improvements across user experience, conversion, and engagement. This role sits at the intersection of UX research, experimentation (A/B testing), lifecycle marketing, and digital content execution, partnering closely with UX, Product, Acquisition, and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable translating customer insights into actionable improvements while managing cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch.

Key Responsibilities
UX Research & Insights (20%)

  • Lead and support UX research initiatives across existing experiences and proposed features.
  • Define study objectives, scope, and success criteria; develop research briefs.
  • Partner with UX teams on study design, test materials, and execution.
  • Support synthesis of research findings and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that inform design and product decisions.

Experimentation & A/B Testing (20%)

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for A/B testing to optimize engagement and conversion.
  • Manage experiments end-to-end, including timelines, resourcing, QA validation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with UX on test concepts, wireframes, and mockups.
  • Execute tests focused on entry points, messaging and language, personalization strategies, information architecture, and CTAs.

Lead Nurture & Lifecycle Campaigns (20%)

  • Partner with the Acquisition team to identify drop-off points and opportunities for lead nurture.
  • Design and manage nurture strategies leveraging lead forms, email, and SMS.
  • Develop campaign plans and coordinate execution with UX and Product teams.
  • Monitor performance and iterate based on engagement and conversion insights.

UX Enhancements & Template Optimization (20%)

  • Collaborate with UX on enhancements to Digital Store templates and components.
  • Drive improvements to tables, callouts, and key navigation experiences such as "View All Products."
  • Ensure UX enhancements align with brand, accessibility, and usability standards.

Schwab Assistant Integration (10%)

  • Partner with the Schwab Assistant team to identify integration opportunities within Digital Store.
  • Ensure intents are accurately routed to native marketing experiences rather than schwab.com where appropriate.
  • Support testing and validation of assistant-driven experiences.

Content Development & Publishing (10%)

  • Lead development of new and optimized digital content.
  • Coordinate stakeholder and SME reviews; secure required S24 approvals.
  • Publish updates as a federated publisher, ensuring compliance with channel guidelines and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in digital experience optimization, UX collaboration, or growth marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with UX research, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives across UX, Product, Marketing, and Engineering.
  • Experience designing or supporting lead nurture and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate insights into clear business and UX recommendations.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.

Why This Role Matters

This role directly impacts how customers discover, engage with, and convert within Digital Store 2.0. By blending UX research, experimentation, and lifecycle marketing, the Digital Experience Optimization Manager helps ensure that every interaction is intuitive, relevant, and performance-driven.
