Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic leader to join our Finance & Strategy organization as the Sr. Director of Corporate Planning and Reporting. You will serve as a pivotal strategic partner to the COFO and Head of Finance, acting as the primary architect of the company's holistic financial narrative. You will lead the global orchestration of our annual plan, month-end close and rolling forecast processes, ensuring seamless synchronization across all business units while scaling our tools and processes for maximum speed and accuracy.
This high-visibility role requires a master communicator who can synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights for board decks and monthly business reviews. Beyond internal reporting, you will be instrumental in shaping our external story and partner closely with Investor Relations to develop quarterly earnings narratives. As a leader, you will mentor a high-performing corporate planning team, fostering a culture of ownership and financial rigor that supports the company's most critical strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance or operations professional with a strong background in SaaS business models, advanced data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and strategic partnership. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Financial Planning: Drive the create of our annual financial plan, orchestrate month-end close and rolling forecast processes, ensuring accuracy and synchronization across all business units and geographies.

  • Synthesize Financial Narratives: Translate complex financial results into concise, actionable insights for the COFO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

  • Executive Presentation: Lead the preparation of monthly business reviews (MBRs), quarterly results and forecasts, board decks, and other executive-level presentations that highlight risks, opportunities, and variance drivers.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a strategic partner across Finance leadership, providing financial rigor and support on major company initiatives.

  • Quarterly Earnings Support: Support Investor Relations in developing narrative for quarterly external guidance, providing strategic insights and trends.

  • Scale Systems & Processes: Drive the continuous improvement of FP&A software and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to automate manual consolidation and increase reporting speed.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing corporate planning team, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and ownership.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a highly analytical role (e.g., Finance, Strategy, Business Operations) with significant exposure to B2B SaaS business models preferred. 3+ years in a leadership/management capacity preferred.

  • Advanced Financial Modeling: Mastery of complex Excel modeling and the ability to build "what-if" scenarios that stress-test business drivers and long-range plans.

  • Relationships: Exceptional relationship-building skills demonstrated by ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and financial concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations for executive audiences.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field or equivalent experience. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.

The typical base salary range for this position is $181,700 - $304,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $218,100 - $332,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
