Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Learning and Development at UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement, based in our Evanston, Illinois, office. The Manager, Learning & Development (L&D) is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high impact learning solutions that strengthen organizational capability and support a culture of continuous learning. This role partners closely with leaders, subject matter experts, and external vendors to create training programs that enhance professional and leadership skills across the organization. The Manager oversees end to end learning initiatives-including needs assessment, program design, facilitation, coaching, and evaluation-and plays a key role in team building strategies, talent development, and succession planning. This position ensures that employees have the resources and support to grow their careers while advancing the organization's mission. This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is part of the HR leadership team.
