Job Description

Purpose
The Logistics & Warehousing Intern will support the Regional Warehouse Manager and regional warehouse teams with inventory analysis, capacity reviews, process improvement initiatives, and project-based work. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to warehousing operations, inventory optimization, and best-practice logistics processes while developing foundational supply chain skills.

Responsibilities
* Assist regional warehouse leadership with inventory capacity reviews and operational assessments across assigned locations.
* Support on-site warehouse improvement projects, including data collection, analysis, and documentation.
* Help analyze inventory levels and support the development of replenishment and inventory optimization strategies in collaboration with Supply Chain teams.
* Assist in identifying efficiency opportunities and cost reduction initiatives within warehousing and distribution operations.
* Support analysis of aged and slow-moving inventory and help develop action plans to reduce excess stock.
* Assist with evaluating warehouse capacity, utilization, and layout effectiveness across the network.
* Support implementation of standardized warehousing best practices, processes, and operating procedures.
* Participate in racking optimization and space utilization projects alongside warehouse teams.
* Assist in documenting logistics principles, policies, and procedures to improve operational consistency.
* Support waste elimination initiatives by helping identify unnecessary steps or inefficiencies in logistics processes.
* Promote and support a strong safety culture by assisting with safety initiatives and compliance efforts.
* Participate in cross-functional meetings, site walkthroughs, and continuous improvement discussions.
* Complete special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
* Interest in warehousing, distribution, inventory management, and logistics operations.
* Coursework or exposure to WMS, TMS, planning tools, or data analytics preferred but not required.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related Office applications.
* Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
* Willingness to learn and work in both office and warehouse settings.
* Ability to travel to warehouse locations as needed (up to ~40%, depending on internship structure).
