Job Title: CDL Driver - Class B Location: Scarborough ME Duration: 3 Months Shift: 1st Shift M-F 8-4pm Pay Rate: $30/hr. on w2 without benefits Note: Valid Class A/B CDL License (without any major infractions). Forklift experience definitely a plus. Must have a clean MVR record. Must have a copy/transcript of HSD. Job Description: The main function of a CDL driver is to drive and operate vehicles that require a class B CDL license. This role is directly involved in all phases of customer delivery, inventory management, and customer interaction Role & Responsibilities: Pick up and transport goods and cargo to predetermined destinations. Assist with loading and unloading of cargo. Pre and post-inspection of the assigned vehicle each day for mechanical and safety issues. Ensure all necessary documents and billing paperwork is present for each delivery/shipment Reach destinations within assigned timelines and verify receipt of delivery according to company protocols Report any incidents encountered on the road, and follow accident procedures if an accident occurs. Maintain logs if required (paper or electronic) Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A/B CDL License (without any major infractions).
