About the Role

As a Manager of Shared Services, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating cross-functional projects that support operational excellence across the organization. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are consistently met.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to influence process improvements, streamline internal workflows, and support business units through structured project leadership and resource coordination.

What You'll Do
  • Lead non-technical projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring alignment with internal customer needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional project teams, driving collaboration, clarity, and accountability.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, action logs, and communication plans to keep initiatives on track.
  • Track project progress through structured meetings, reporting, and metrics; proactively identify risks and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, adjusting plans and resources as necessary.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates, documentation, and visibility into project status.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet requirements and support business goals, including operational improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Support teams in identifying process gaps, documenting workflows, and recommending enhancements.
  • Partner with leaders to understand resource needs; coordinate contributions from project participants without direct supervisory authority.
  • Maintain project documentation, including charters, requirements, communication summaries, and closure reports.
  • Facilitate postproject reviews to evaluate success metrics and identify improvement opportunities for future initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • 3-5+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, or shared services operations.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct-report authority.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate project requirements for diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in environments with multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes through collaboration rather than positional authority.
  • Solid problemsolving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to track budgets, timelines, and scope; familiarity with basic project financials.
  • Knowledge of project management methods, tools, and documentation best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (Teams, Planner, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Corporate/remote environment with collaboration across global crossfunctional teams.
  • May require occasional extended hours to support project deadlines.
  • Some international travel required in addition to domestic travel
