Join us as our new Production Coordinator

In this role you will be responsible for coordination of day-to-day production activities by providing people leadership, Continuous Improvement, and administrative support as needed.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Leading and collaborating with crossfunctional teams on Continuous Improvement and Systematic Problem Solving initiatives, driving efficiency, safety, quality, and overall company strategy.
• Supporting production operations by partnering closely with the production supervisor, conducting shift/department meetings, assisting on the floor, and participating in decisions on new products or processes.
• Maintaining and improving safety culture and regulatory compliance through toolbox talks, PPE guidance, audits, corrective actions, and execution of programs aligned with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Overseeing quality and documentation processes, including reviewing production records, managing SOPs/WIs, addressing nonconformities, and following up on deviations and observations.
• Tracking and reporting KPIs, recommending and implementing process improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, and utilizing lean tools such as 5S to support continuous improvement.
• Assessing facility and equipment conditions and initiating maintenance work requests.

To succeed you must hold:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in a production environment preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to effectively communicate oral and written information and respond to questions from managers and other employees in a professional manner.
• Possess a working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs and ERP system (SAP preferred).
• Possess working knowledge of continuous improvement principles and their application.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Shows initiative to improve work processes or question the status quo.
• Physical ability to work in a production environment including but not limited to: stand, walk, bend, scoop, kneel, crouch, lift and/or move materials up to 55 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. assisted.

Expected Salary Range: $70k to $90k
