We have an exciting opening for a Shipping Technician in Olive Branch, MS. This position is responsible for shipping international and domestic orders.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurately shipping orders, materials, and supplies per customer's request.

  • Load Truck

  • Use computer, forklift (if necessary), pallet jack, calculator, tape machine, shrink wrap machine, packaging equipment, scale and Walkie

  • Adheres to the quality management system.

  • Follows and adheres to standard work, standard operating procedures and work instructions.

  • Participates and is actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Follows all safety and housekeeping rules and procedures.

  • Actively participated in High Performance Teams (HPTs) as assigned.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Able to consolidate orders for appropriate customers to designated staging area

  • Able to produce packing slips per order

  • Able to use hand-held scanners

  • Able to use pallet-jack

We are looking for talent with

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus prior shipping experience preferred.
  • Must have basic computer, math and industrial skills.
  • Must be mechanically competent.
  • Able to obtain internal forklift certification

  • Experience with international shipments and alternative shipping methods (preferred)

  • Proficient in the effective use of various window-based applications

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent: Walking, Reaching Outward, and Bending Lifting 10-50 lbs.

  • Constant: Handling/Gripping, Standing, Lifting 10 - 25 lbs.

  • Occasionally: Push/Pull 12 lbs. - 50 lbs.
