Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and team members with clear communication and customer service. This post requires a valid driver's license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, associates, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical situations, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store management and local public services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, observing for potential theft indicators, and supporting loss prevention efforts through professional presence and communication.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate noteworthy activity to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
