As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Rover in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support visitors and employees with professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual conditions and submitting required reports.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying authorization for personnel and/or deliveries, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems as assigned, communicate observations to appropriate contacts, and assist with traffic and staging during deliveries and shift changes as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have CPR certification preferred.
• Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
