About the Role:

Our Customer Experience team is seeking an Associate Principal Resident Engineer. In this role, you will serve as an onsite, customerfacing technical expert responsible for planning, deploying, and optimizing the Dragos Platform within the customer's industrial environment. You will work handson at customer facilities such as power plants, substations, manufacturing floors and refineries to install the platform, tune it to their operational needs, and ensure reliable security coverage across their ICS/OT systems. Serving as a trusted technical partner, you'll guide customers through deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform adoption, enabling them to strengthen and sustain the security of their critical infrastructure. This role requires an onsite presence in Berlin, Connecticut.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with Dragos Sales and Solution Architect teams to understand customer use cases and success criteria.
  • Partner with client teams on network architecture, sensor placement, and integrations for the deployment of new sensors; coordinate and conduct deployments.
  • Partner with client teams to refine applicable use cases and Dragos platform objectives.
  • Tune and optimize Dragos platform to meet defined customer objectives.
  • Develop content and build foundational workflows based on client use cases and value proposition.
  • Monitor the health of the Platform solution to ensure continuous Platform availability and continuously tune and optimize the Dragos Platform.
  • Coordinate upgrades, patches, and other configuration changes to the Platform solution.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to enable key stakeholders, whlie documenting processes.
  • Provide troubleshooting and break/fix support for the Platform; manage escalations as needed.
  • Communicate roadmap of upcoming features and content with the client and conduct new release feature walkthroughs.
  • Continually solicit client feedback on feature requests and improvements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other Dragos teams/services (eg, Intel, Threat Hunting).
  • Identify opportunities for other Dragos products and services.


Qualifications:



  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Berlin, Connecticut.
  • 5+ years of ICS/OT Cybersecurity experience.
  • Networking experience including strong knowledge of IP networks, OSI model, Purdue model, and ICS protocols.
  • Experience with Linux (command line), Docker, scripting languages (python, shell, etc.), SIEMs, and ELK stack.
  • Experience in on-premise solutions.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
  • Customer-oriented and attentive to client needs, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with NERC-CIP is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
